AXAグループの出資するブルゴーニュのドメーヌ。海外の酒販業者のサイト曰く、
Located in the Cote de Nuits, 2 km south of Nuits-Saint-Georges, Domaine de l'Arlot took its name from the "Clos de l'Arlot", a 10-acre vineyard surrounding the house. The french insurance group AXA bought the estate in 1987 and is the sole owner of the 33-acre vineyard. After eight years of collaboration with Jean-Pierre De Smet and Lise Judet as a technical director and winemaker, Olivier Leriche now heads the domaine, thus ensuring continuity in the philosophy and "Domaine de l'Arlot" style.
ということで、ドメーヌを取り囲むクロデラルロが名前の由来らしい。アルロー自体は
The vineyard Clos de l’Arlot takes its name from the small river that runs through the village of Premeaux-Prissey in Burgundy’s Cote d’Or.
とあったので、川の名前からとったらしい。この川はグーグルマップでも確認できる。
今日は珍しいニュイサンジョルジュの白。シャルドネ１００％。２００６だからどうかわからないがまだ飲みごろから遠い感じ。味わいは濃いシャルドネ系。グレープフルーツというよりはバナナやメロンより。あとは樽のせいもあるかもしれない。一緒に食べた太刀魚にはこれでちょうどよかったような気もする。
白いキャップが陶器の様なしっとり感があり、すきな感じ。中身に似ている気もする。
太刀魚のグリル。細身のほうがすき。味も形も。
